Wye and Usk Brecon Trip for beginners and improvers - 24-26 March 2017

We are organising a Brecon trip in South Wales, exploring the Wye and Usk, hoping to do sections like Sennybridge to Aberbran and Brecon to Talybont as examples. The trip will be suitable for white water kayaks and open boating.

This trip is suitable for members who want to progress onto white water and intermediates wanting to do different river sections. If anyone is interested in white water open boating this is a perfect area to try this. This is also perfect for new 4 star members to practice their leadership skills.

Accommodation is at Wern Watkin Bunkhouse. A Five Star graded bunkhouse with a Gold Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme and winner of the 2013 Hostels Goldstar. Links to websites are: www.wernwatkin.co.uk and www.wern-watkin.co.uk.

Cost is £55-65 which covers accommodation, breakfasts, packed lunches. Petrol and Saturday night dinner will be extra. The price varies depending on numbers we get and if we don’t get enough numbers the trip will not run. Deposit to confirm a place on the trip is £55. Your place will be confirmed via email and upon receipt of your payment. If you get a place on the trip, you are liable for the full cost. There are 18 spaces available.

This trip will involve travel from London on Friday night 5-6pm and return to London approx. 9pm on Sunday night. If this is your first Regents trip then please contact us for more information.
