This trip to the famed Scottish glens with their amazing white water and blustering gales, is open to all club members with suitable experience on grade 3 / 4 water. Several club trips or other experience to be under your belt e.g. MEM, Lee Valley, Alps, Tryweryn, Dart.

Overnighting in Dumfries, then moving North to Fort William we’ll be (rain dependent) paddling some classic Scottish whitewater. It is strongly recommended that you have decent paddling footwear and dry top and trousers / wet suit for this trip.

The non-refundable deposit of £135 covers the cost of accommodation and breakfasts in both Dumfries and Fort William. Petrol, other meals and booze during the week will be extra.
There will be three evening meals in restaurants throughout the week – all other meals will be self catering in the shared accommodation – everyone will be expected to help out. There will be one “themed” meal and entertainment evening.

As always a balance will be made between experience, drivers and leaders. The more flexible you are as a driver/leader, the more likely you are to get on the trip.

Deposit payments need to be received prior to 30th August or your place will be given to the next person on the waiting list. Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment (details in Notes from Canalside)
