Event Details

The first May bank holiday trip to paddle the mighty Tryweryn and, weather dependent, any other rivers is now open for booking.

The Tryweryn is a dam release river near Bala in North Wales which usually releases water 2 of the 3 days we will be there. This trip is suitable for anyone comfortable on Grade 2-3 water, ideally having paddled at least three previous weekends.

We will be leaving the night of the 29th April and returning on the 2nd May. This is a camping trip and costs will cover your pitch, campfire and a BBQ dinner one of the evenings. On one of the nights we will head to a local pub for food and taxis will be arranged to get us there and back.

Cost of the trip will be £40. This includes campsite accommodation and the BBQ. All other meals, transport and water access fees will be in addition.

To secure your place on the trip, pay the non-refundable trip deposit and email  [email protected] with answers to the following questions:

  • Can you drive and if so how many passengers and boats can you take?
  • Are you willing to lead?
  • Your paddling experience?
  • Where will you be leaving from on Friday and where would you like to be dropped on Sunday?
