Nene White Water Centre trip

We are trying out a new day-trip to the Nene White Water Centre in Northampton which will be suitable for beginner paddlers and anyone looking for more experience on moving water.

The man-made course is fun, calmer than Lee Valley and closer than Wales! It makes a perfect practice space for members who are looking to expand their white water experience and work on new skills.

We plan to attend the Centre’s ‘Park-n-Play’ session next Sunday 9th July. It runs from 2:30 – 6pm and we can stay for as long as we want for £12.00/person. Coaches will be on hand to run through some skills and impart their paddling wisdom, but this is the first time we have arranged a trip to the Nene in quite a while, so it’ll be a bit of a learning experience for everyone!

Subject to coaches and cars, we hope to bring a group of 6 – 8 paddlers that are looking to develop their white water skills. If you are interested, please email [email protected] and let us know if whether you can drive; number of passengers and boats; and your paddling experience.
