Lake District trip

This will be a three day trip – we will travel up on Thursday 12th November in the evening and return to London after a morning/early afternoon paddle on Sunday 15th November.

Previous rivers we have paddled on this trip have included the Kent, Lune and Leven, however if we are lucky enough to have more water we will be aiming to look at alternatives. This trip is suitable for anyone comfortable on grade 3 water. Newer members of the club, who have been on a few white water trips, will be welcome depending on the amount of leaders and support paddlers we have. As ever, there is a chance of rivers being too high for everyone to paddle, or too low for anyone to paddle, so be prepared to find alternative activities if necessary 🙂

We will be staying, near Kendal, in the beautiful 5* Hyning Estate (www.thehyningestate.com), which is one of the highlights of the trip!
NB: There is a mix of room/bed types ranging from doubles to sofa beds. These will be allocated before arrival.

The cost of the trip is £120, including three days accommodation, home cooked breakfasts and dinners, as well as the good old regents packed lunches. This will be required to guarantee your place on the trip. Sarah will give you bank details for a transfer once we receive your initial email. Please note that by asking for a place on the trip you are committing to paying this fee if you are accepted onto the list.
