Introduction to White Water - Weekend Away

Our summer Introduction to White Water Kayaking course is now open for booking. The course is great fun and is an opportunity to learn new kayaking skills, with four canal and three pool sessions and then a weekend away to paddle the River Wye and the rapids at Symonds Yat.

The cost for the course is £250 per person for members and £325 for non members. This includes all tuition, hire of equipment, fuel costs for the weekend away, as well as breakfast, lunch and accommodation on the weekend away. Your instructors are all volunteers and do not get paid. The only additional expense will be for a Saturday evening meal on the weekend away and beer money.

Session 2 – Tues 19 July 2022 – Pool, Britannia Leisure Centre 7.15-9pm
Session 3 – Thur 21 July 2022 – Canal Club site 7-9pm
Session 4 – Tues 26 July 2022 – Pool, Britannia Leisure Centre 7.15-9pm
Session 5 – Thur 28 July 2022 – Canal Club site 7-9pm
Session 6 – Tues 2 August 2022 – Pool, Britannia Leisure Centre 7.15-9pm
Session 7 – Thur 4 August 2022 – Canal Club site 7-9pm
Session 8 – w/e 5-7 August 2022 – River Wye Fri 5.30pm – Sunday 8.30pm
