Christmas Party - Thursday evening

The hotly anticipated social event of the year is almost upon us. It’s taking place at the William IV pub, 7 Shepherdess Walk (corner of Micawber Street) from 19:00 on Thursday, 18th December 2014.

Tickets are £20 per person and includes a large selection of hot finger foods. The ticket price also covers the cost of prizes for the RCC Annual Awards Ceremony. You get to vote for your favourites on the night with the awards ceremony taking place there and then.

There are 50 places available. To reserve your place, you need to pay the £20 by cheque payable to Regents Canoe Club (and hand to a Committee member) or by bank transfer to: Regents Canoe Club, Sort Code: 08-92-99, Account number: 65465185 with reference of Xmas Party or your name.

You must also send an email to Sean ([email protected]) answering the question… “My most embarrassing paddling moment this year is…”

This needs to be honest and about something that you have done either on the canal, on a trip or at the pool that left you a little red faced. These will remain anonymous but will be voted upon at the Christmas Party with the winner taking home an awesome prize (meaning if you win, you won’t be anonymous anymore!).

If you are unable to attend from 19:00 or you would prefer not to attend for the food and awards ceremony, you can join us later in the pub for a few drinks. You will not be permitted entry to the room until after 21:30 though.
