Barle and Exe Trip

The Barle is a small river set in a beautiful tree-lined valley which forms the border between 
Somerset and Devon. Water from Exmoor feeds the Barle as it works it’s way to it’s confluence with 
the River Exe, passing the attractive small town of Dulverton on its way.

The river trip from Tarr Steps to Dulverton is a gem and would be enjoyed by those with recently 
acquired river experience to advanced paddlers. Also a fabulous open boat river.
