Coached drop in session

The autum and winter nights are setting in and its getting harder to find the motivation to get down to the canal. To make the dark evenings a little lighter, Steffi has come up with a number of 20 minute fun sessions. Some of these sessions are formally coached for up to 6 people on a come first come, first served basis. Other sessions we will play games or offer some informal health & safety advice.

Members who wish to take part or improve their skills just need to turn up on the night. As a general rule, we can accommodate about 6-8 people per session. The Thursday sessions will run 19:30 – 20:00. Latecomers will simply miss out.

• Thursday 29th October – forward paddling, turning, boofing
• Thursday 5th November – towing boats/boat rescues
• Thursday 19th November – Polo
• Thursday 26th November – z-drag/CLAP
• Thursday 3rd December – Throwline use
• Monday 14th December – river features
