Welcome back!

I’d like to guage interest from members who are thinking of going to the proposed club trip to the Tryweryn over the long weekend of 24-27 May. To be clear, it’s not open for bookings yet. This trip is suitable for anyone who has been on one or more club trips before, ideally a Dart or Lakes trip. It would be really helpful if you could let me know if you’d like to attend simply by sending me an e-mail so that we can decide whether there is sufficient interest, as if not we will look to cancel the accommodation before the club incurs costs.

The Scotland trip is a highlight of the Regents calendar and it’s time we started looking for a trip organiser. If you are interested please email me to discuss, you can organise the trip with a buddy if you like. This is a week long trip in the Fort William area, typically late October/early November. No accommodation has been booked yet.

The Regents spring Intro To White Water Course is open for bookings (members and non-members). You can shortly find details on our web site here, and below. We are also looking for organisers and volunteers to help for both the spring and summer courses, if interested please email: safety@regentscanoeclub.co.uk

The Alps trip is still taking any late applications, but places will be dependent on the right mix of experience paddlers and drivers – details on our web calendar.

We have our regular pool session this Tuesday, hope to see you there.

Aye,

Mark Don. Chair \ Regents Canoe Club
